Patrick K. "Pat" Moore 

December 12, 1958 - November 24, 2023 

Patrick Moore left this life to be with his Lord & Saviour on November 24, 2023. He was 64 years of age, born to Jim and Marie Moore on Dec. 12, 1958. He attended school first in Ruleton, then Goodland, graduating from Goodland High School in 1976.

He then went to Texas A&M University, earning both undergraduate and graduate degrees in Chemical Engineering. He made his home thereafter in Texas, working at Dow Chemical, Marathon Oil and later at Swenson Technology in the Chicago area.

In recent times he had struggled with end stage heart failure. He had undergone heart repair of a leaky valve in 2016, successfully doing cardiac rehab to strengthen his heart, and return to normal life activities. This condition returned in the summer of 2023, and his efforts were not successful in recovering. In November, he entered hospice in the Houston area, near his home for many years.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Becky, and his three sons, Daniel, of Louisville, CO; Joseph, of the home, and Andrew, and wife Vika Moore, of Houston, as well as sisters Jessie and Mickey, and brother Scott. We will miss his sense of humor, his kindness, his love of lifelong learning, and his incredible knowledge and intelligence. Pat's celebration of life will be at Bridgepoint Bible Church in Houston, TX, on December 12th at 3:30 pm.
