Corbett David Crabtree II 

June 1, 1939 - August 20, 2023 

Dave was born on June 1, 1939 and left this life on August 20, 2023. At Texas A&M University he majored in Sociology and was conferred a Bachelor's degree in 1960.

After graduation, he earned a degree in theology at SMU and was ordained a pastor in the United Methodist Church. David served churches in South Texas, and soon enlisted in the US Army as a chaplain. He served in Vietnam then after leaving active duty Dave remained in the Reserves and spent 27 years in service to his country, retiring as a major. David also served a number of small churches in the Rio Texas Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church.

He leaves behind a wife, Patricia; 19 children; and many grandchildren. 

He always believed that his greatest accomplishment was his children.  

Reverend Crabtree is buried at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.
