Don J. LeNoir

April 13, 1938 - January 8, 2024

With great sadness we announce the death of Don J. LeNoir of Plano, TX. He was called home by His Lord and Savior on January 8th, 2024, at the age of 85. Don was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and a friend to many. His departure leaves a hole in our hearts, but his memories will forever live on.

Don J. LeNoir was born on April 13th, 1938, in Marlin, TX to Blanchard L. and Verna LeNoir. He graduated from Marlin High School. Upon graduating Marlin High School, he attended Texas A&M University. He was the Texas A&M Cadet Class of 1960, where he earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Marketing. He was a proud devoted Aggie with an enduring love for the university. Don’s life was marked by his passion for teaching. He was an inspiration to his students, and they continued those relationships beyond graduation.

He married the love of his life, Joanne Saculla in 1966. They remained married for 44 years and had two children. In his spare time, he loved to travel and visit the beach, spend time with friends, and play golf. He was an avid reader and then began to write a book of his own. Don had many dear friends in every stage of his life that ended up being family. Most of all, he loved his role as a grandfather to his three grandsons.

As Don’s passing leaves a huge void, his memory lives on through his daughter Sabrina LeNoir Lewis, son Blair LeNoir, son-in-law Brent, daughter-in-law Kimberly, sister-in-law, Martha LeNoir and grand-sons, whom he adored, Josh, Jake, and Justin; nephew, Tony and Dena LeNoir and their son, Zane LeNoir. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and the many close dear friends he called his family who all carry forward the spirit of a man who dedicated his life to enriching the lives of others.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Joanne LeNoir and parents; Blanchard L. and Verna LeNoir, brother Blanchard LeNoir. Don J. LeNoir’s legacy remains vibrant in the hearts of those he touched, a beacon of inspiration for generations to come. He will be deeply missed by all those that loved him.

May he rest in eternal peace.
