Julia Anne Grasley

May 8, 1997 - March 1, 2024

Julia Anne Grasley, 26, of College Station, Texas went to her eternal heavenly home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, March 1st, 2024. Visitation will be from 5-7 pm on Friday, March 8, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church at 1200 Foxfire Dr. in College Station, Texas. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at 10 am on Saturday, March 9, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church. Burial will follow at the Wellborn Cemetery.

Julia was born on May 8, 1997, to Zachary and Loretta Grasley in Clinton Township, Michigan. She was the first born of four siblings. She moved with her family to College Station, Texas in 2006, ultimately completing her BS and MS degrees in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University. In August 2023 she started her Ph.D. studies at UT Austin, where she was exceedingly accomplished and the recipient of numerous awards and recognitions during her studies.

Julia was incredibly humble, she was known for always putting others ahead of herself from an early age. In the 6th grade, she won the ‘I am Third’ award from Brazos Christian School for always putting God first, others second, and herself third. A long-time member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church where she was confirmed in 2011, Julia loved her Savior and her family immensely and intentionally. She sang in the praise team and the choir to share her love of Jesus with others. She led a purposeful life that radiated Christ’s love, never taking anything for granted and savoring the special moments in life like long goodbye hugs. Julia was a ‘foodie’ who loved to try new tastes and flavors. She loved to hike, explore the world, and spend quiet moments with her family.

While her family is devastated that they must go on without Julia for the remainder of their time on earth, they know she is wrapped in the arms of Jesus and look forward to reconnecting in heaven.
