Kendra Elaine (Dick) Rozic 

May 29, 1971 - January 31, 2024 

Kendra Elaine Rozic, age 52, passed away on January 31, 2024 after a long battle with breast cancer.

Kendra was born on May 29, 1971 to Dennis and Linda Dick in Dodge City, Kansas. She moved to Houston in 1973 when she was only 2 years old along with twin sister Karla and big brother Marty.

She graduated Alief Hastings High School in 1989 and went on to study business at Texas A&M University. After graduating in 1993 with a Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Kendra began her career in Houston as a consultant for American Express and later CSC.

In 1997, mutual friends encouraged Kendra to crash a party at what would later become her home with future husband, Dick. In 1998, while traveling through Europe, Dick and Kendra's lives together were sealed with their engagement on a rainy, but romantic evening in Venice, Italy. They were married a year later, in 1999, surrounded by family and friends at the Richmond House just outside of Houston in Richmond, Texas. Love and life ensued through a series of adventures including job changes, the dot-com bubble, start-up businesses and travel to many far-away places.

In 2004, Kendra and Dick were blessed with the birth of their triplet children - after 10 weeks of hospital bedrest she delivered 17 combined pounds of babies! Nothing was more important and fulfilling for Kendra than the gift of motherhood. She gave her all to her family and loved so much nurturing and watching the kids learn and grow into the beautiful young people they are today. Her love and spirit will live on forever in Jacob, Ben and Eden.

As the kids started school, Kendra re-joined the traditional working world and spent 5+ years at FMC Technologies and most recently another 5+ years with Invesco. She enjoyed a variety of job roles and developed expertise with business process re-engineering, risk management and cyber security. Kendra loved her work and the normalcy and escape that her work provided from her cancer treatments. She is grateful to her many colleagues for their friendship, love, and support.

In all her spare time between work, kids and husband, Kendra found joy in cooking and trying new recipes. She and Dick were always seeking the next great "inside-the-loop" restaurant and were happy sharing dinners and catching up on life with friends. She loved their family trips whether to relax on the beach or to ski in the high altitudes. A couple of motorhome adventures to Big Bend and Zion were especially memorable as was unwittingly beating out the pandemic in 2019 for an overseas summer trip to Germany and England. Kendra also passed on her love and talent for dancing to daughter Eden. Their amazing Tik-Tok routines will always make us smile and remind us of her grace and beauty.

No one knew Kendra better than sister Karla - a special bond and extraordinary connection that only identical twins may know. For fifty plus years they shared much of their lives together. They traveled across the globe to commemorate their 50th birthday in Dubai and the Maldives; and Karla joined their recent holiday, family adventure to Washington, DC and New York City.

Kendra truly enjoyed life and made the most of every day with a gentle love and purpose that we will always remember. She will be sorely missed by her family, friends and colleagues. We love you Kendra.

Kendra was predeceased by her father Dennis Dick (who died February 12, 2023) and is survived by her husband Dick Rozic and their children Jacob, Benjamin and Eden. She is also survived by her mother Linda Dick, sister Karla Dick (of Dallas) and brother Martin Dick (of Austin).

A Memorial service and celebration of Kendra's life will be held on April 6, 2024 at 2pm at St. Luke's United Methodist Church located at 3471 Westheimer, Houston Texas.

Kendra will also be honored at Aggie Muster on April 21, 2024 at 7pm in College Station at Texas A&M Reed Arena.
