George Michael Szymeczek, II
September 26, 1965 - April 22, 2023
George Szymeczek, II was born in Mason City, IA September 26, 1965. At an early age the family moved to Rosenberg, TX.
After graduating HS he went on to study at Texas A&M University where he was in the Corps of Cadets & senior advisor of the Fish Drill Team. After graduation he was a pilot in the US Air Force as a C141 pilot and instructor. He then joined Southwest Airlines as a 1st Officer and later upgraded to Captain and Check Airman.
He was preceded in death by his parents George and Edna and is survived by his wife Kelly and daughters Taylor and Sarah, and his sisters Georgia and Vicki.
