B. Paul Jones 

September 16, 1931 - February 12, 2024 

B. Paul Jones ’53 of Paradise Valley, AZ was born September 16, 1931, and passed away on February 12, 2024 at age 92.

Paul served as an executive investment officer for Arizona’s Valley National Bank and an officer at RBC Wealth Management.

Paul was a Class of 1953 Texas A&M Aggie where he received his B.A. in Economics and pursued his graduate studies at SMU.

Paul was involved in many civic organizations, including the Rotary Club, YMCA, Phoenix Chamber of Commerce, Phoenix Symphony Orchestra, and Arizona Theater Company. He was a dedicated member of Our Lady of Angels Church.

Paul was survived by his loving wife, Socorro Jones, his sons David Jones, Mark Jones (Carol) and Salvador Ongaro, his daughter Sabina Aaronson (Ed), his grandsons Michael Jones (Erin), Julian (Loren), and Charle, his granddaughters Lauren Jones (Bill), Elena (Sam), Kaitlyn, Sofia, Gaby, and Olivia, and great granddaughters Cassie, Sadie, and Izzy.

Paul was preceded in death by his father J. Lawrence Jones, his mother Pinkie F. Jones, his brother Harold W. Jones ’46, his daughters Cynthia Jones Jacobson and Heidi Jones, and his nephews Carl Lawrence Jones and Jeffery Orion Jones.
