Steven Alan McCauley 

October 31, 1967 - August 8, 2023 

Steven Alan McCauley, known to his loved ones as Dad - Uncle Steve - Steve, passed away on August 8, 2023, in Sachse, Texas, at the age of 55. He was born on October 31, 1967, in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Steven was a devoted collector of comic books and had a deep passion for Super Man, Star Wars, Star Trek and all things Sci-Fi. He was a proud supporter of various Texas sports teams (excluding t.u.) - including the Texas Aggies, Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, Dallas Stars, and Dallas Mavericks.

In his career, Steven worked alongside his parents at AT&T, Lucent, and other companies before his most recent position at Elo. He graduated from Red Oak High School and furthered his education at Texas A&M University, majoring in Theater, and later obtained an MBA from the University of Texas in Arlington.

Steven will be dearly missed by his surviving family members, including his Son William Alan McCauley, Sister Beth Satterfield (Brother-In-Law Bryan), Sister-In-Law Laura Hynson (Brother-In-Law Todd), nieces and nephews Pace Hynson, Ella Hynson, Lauren Gower, Daniel Gower, and Grant Satterfield, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by parents Ronald McCauley and Marilyn McCauley and beloved wife Beth Ann McCauley.

Steven's love for his family, his interests, and his dedication to his work will always be remembered by those who knew him.
