James T. "Jim" Davis 

December 13, 1930 - September 25, 2022 

Dr. James T. Davis, Colonel, US Army Reserve (Retired), long-time fisheries specialist with the Texas A&M Agricultural Extension Service then construction coordinator for Bryan–College Station Habitat for Humanity, died Sunday, September 25th, 2022 at the age of 91. Jim was born in Bethany, Missouri on December 13, 1930 to Cecil Nolan Davis and Bina Hawk Slaughter Davis.

Jim is survived by the love of his life and wife of 65 years, Louise; his sisters, Laura Frances Worstell and Martha Zumbrunnen; his brother, Frank Davis; his four children and their spouses, Irene and Bill Rinehart, Bina and Greg Lorfing, Cecil and Tristyn Davis, Harvey Davis and Victoria Dye; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Jim and his wife have been faithful members of St. Paul's / St. Luke's United Methodist Church in Bryan since 1972.

A come and go visitation will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2022 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm at Arbor Oaks at Crestview, 2505 E Villa Maria Rd, Bryan, Texas 77802. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 1, at 3:00pm with a reception following, at St. Luke's United Methodist Church, 2700 W Villa Maria Rd, Bryan, Texas 77807.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations be made to Bryan-College Station Habitat for Humanity at habitatbcs.org.
