Thomas Morgan Ferguson, Jr. 

January 9, 1943 - January 17, 2022 

Thomas Morgan Ferguson, Jr., 79, of Caldwell, Texas, passed away Monday, January 17, 2022, with his wife at his side. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 29, 2022, at 1:00 pm at Callaway Jones Funeral Home. A reception will follow at the S.P.J.S.T Hall in New Tabor.

Born in Lincoln, Nebraska, on January 9, 1943, he was the son of the late Thomas M. Ferguson, Sr. and Grace Evelyn (Barnett) Ferguson. In addition to his parents, Tom was predeceased by his brother John F. Ferguson, niece Brittany Laura and sister Leticia R. Penn.

He graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School in Bryan, Texas, in 1961 and married Joyce Ann Mynar on May 19, 1972. They had two daughters, Kelli and Ashley. Tom worked for many years as a realtor/broker in the Houston area before moving back to the Bryan/College Station area in 2005 and settling in Caldwell, Texas.

Tom was a proud and loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and spending time with his grandchildren and great great-nephews.

Tom is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Ferguson of Caldwell; daughters, Kelli Stoner and husband Darrell of Caldwell, TX, Ashley Kelley and husband Matthew of Carthage, TX, and grandchildren Sean Colin and Nora Rose Kelley; brother Leonard “Bear” Ferguson and wife Kathy and nieces Hillary and Carissa; sister-in-law Carol Ferguson, nephew John and wife Reba; nieces Holly Holland, Melissa Whisler and husband Todd, Robin Oberst and husband Matt, Brooke Grall and husband Jay; nephew Don Readhimer II and wife Anne and numerous great-nieces and nephews.
