William Leroy Innmon 

July 2, 1936 - October 17, 2023 

William Leroy “Lee” Innmon, 87, of Houston, TX went to be with the Lord, after an extended illness, on Tuesday, October 17, 2023. He was born on July 2, 1936 in Rogers, TX.

Leroy graduated from A&M University in 1960 and went on to complete his Master’s Degree in Business Administration at University of Houston, Clear Lake, in 1984. He worked as a Financial Analyst in the Aerospace Divisions of Ford, Loral, and Lockheed. During his career he worked in Houston, TX, Detroit, MI, Severna Park, MD and Newport Beach, CA, where he retired in 1999 after 31 years of service.

Leroy enjoyed traveling. Two of his favorite places were Estes Park, CO, and Hawaii. He loved visiting and hiking in the National Parks. Leroy loved and cherished family above all else.

Leroy is survived by his wife of 35 years, Elaine, his daughters Pam Helpenstill (Steve) of Friendswood, TX, Alexa Innmon (Kenneth) of Pensacola, FL, his stepchildren, Steve Wardlaw (Ann) of San Angelo, TX, Greg Wardlaw (Cindi) of Houston, TX, Jeff Wardlaw of Houston, TX, brother, Jacky Innmon of Houston, TX and sister, Brenda Innmon of Bronte, TX. He was blessed with 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Leroy was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie LaPrelle Innmon and Gladys Warren, stepmom, Charlene Self, his daughter, Janice Innmon, and his brother Lonnie Innmon.

Services will be held at Forest Park East Funeral Home and Cemetery in Webster, TX, on Friday, October 20, 2023 at 10 am.

The family would like to offer special thanks to Jerry Stark and Mikaila Bright from Dignity Hospice, and Matthew Dooley from Heartis Clear Lake, for the warmth and care they provided.
