Ray Vernon Miles 

September 24, 1957 - November 17, 2023 

Ray Vernon Miles passed away on November 17, 2023, in Fairview, Texas at the age of 66. He was born to Vernon and Barbara (Boren) Miles on September 24, 1957, in Dallas, Texas. Ray graduated from DeSoto High School Class of 1976 and Texas A&M University Class of 1980 and Sam Houston State Class of 1986. He married Sharalyn Grace Hull Kiesewetter on October 19, 2002, in Duncanville, Texas. Ray loved hunting, fishing, and watching football, but what he loved the most was spending time with his grandchildren and his family.

He is survived by his wife, Shari Miles of Fairview, Texas; son, David Miles and wife, Jacque of Gresham, Oregon; daughter, Dr. Caitlin Miles of Columbus, Ohio; son, Will Kiesewetter and wife, Gen of Fort Worth, Texas; daughter, Patricia Mullenix and husband, David of Frisco, Texas; granddaughter, Caitlin Mullenix; grandson, Cooper Kiesewetter; granddaughter, Kate Kiesewetter; granddaughter, Havi Mullenix; grandson, Bronson Mullenix; granddaughter, Codi Kiesewetter; several nieces and nephews, and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents Vernon Miles and Barbara Bajorek.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 2, 2023, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
