Donald Arthur Galvin 

September 12, 1958 - July 19, 2023 

Donald Arthur Galvin was born on September 12, 1958, in San Antonio, Texas to Iris (Conrad) and Leonard Galvin. Don grew up in San Antonio and graduated from Lee High School. He attended Texas A&M University, where he received a B.S. in Accounting in 1980. Don passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2023. Don was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. He was adored and will be deeply missed.

Don was a member of the Aggie Corps of Cadets – the Spirit of Aggieland. He excelled throughout his life at the six core values: respect, excellence, leadership, loyalty, integrity, and selfless service.

Don was preceded in death by his parents. He leaves behind his loving wife, Billie Jo Galvin of San Antonio; his children, Taylor Lee Galvin, Christopher Delay Galvin, Jessica Bell, Jason Bell and his wife, Dr. Shanna (Britt) Bell. “Don Don” will be greatly missed by his two granddaughters, Tristan JoLee, and Zoe Marie. He is further survived by his brother, Mike Galvin and his wife, Robbin, and his niece and nephew, Shannon (Galvin) Charanza, and Matt Galvin.

The Galvin Family will be receiving guests for a Visitation at 1:00 PM on Friday, July 28, 2023 with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 2:00 PM at Sunset North Funeral Home, San Antonio, Texas.
