Janet Eileen Laminack 
January 24, 1971 - June 28, 2023 

Janet “Cricket” Eileen Laminack, 52, passed from this life with loved ones beside her, after a long battle with cancer, on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 in Fort Worth.

Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, July7, 2023 at Springtown Church of Christ in Springtown, Texas.

Memorial: 2:00 p.m., Springtown, July 8, 2023 at Springtown Church of Christ in Springtown.

Janet was born January 24, 1971 in Freeport, Texas to Glen and Carol Waters Laminack.

Janet was an “Aggie”, a Horticulture Extension Agent for Denton County, a Peace Corp volunteer in Ecuador, among many other things. She was known for her smile, her sharp with and sense of humor, her love of adventure and travel and for a multitude of friends from all walks of her life. Janet was truly loved by so many and will be remembered as a bright light by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Ridings; grandparents, Carroll and Mildred Waters and Byron and Verna Laminack.

She is survived by her best friend and cousin, Julie Sphar; parents, Gendal and Carol Laminack; brother and sister-in-law, David and Tara Laminack; and the delights of her life, nephews, Anson, Jayton and Becton Laminack; as well as a host of other family and friends.
