Michael Joseph Gorman
December 9, 1982 - July 17, 2022

Michael Joseph Gorman, 39, of San Antonio, formerly of Morristown, TN passed away unexpectedly from a hiking accident in Bearden Falls, Chattahoochee National Forest on Sunday, July 17, 2022.

He was saved in the 6th grade and was a member of Alpha Baptist Church. He graduated Suma Cum Laude from WSCC earning his AS; Tennessee Tech earning his BS and Texas A&M earning his MS. He worked as a Nuclear Engineer for Dynamic Concepts and Siemens, and was currently working as a Partner Consulting Solutions Engineer at Zscaler. He especially loved to travel and had been to many of God’s Creations throughout the world.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill and Nancy Daniel.

He is survived by his parents, Linda and Steven Gorman; brother, Joshua (Sarah) Gorman; grandparents, Ernest and Shirley Gorman; nieces and nephews, Josiah, Trent, and Michaela; special friend, Lei Fang, as well as many other dear friends and co-workers.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 23, 2022, at 3:00 pm in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home. The body will lie in state from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends with a closed casket from 2:00 – 3:00 pm.
