John "Jay" Orion Page, Jr.

February 15, 1938 - December 2, 2022

John "Jay" Orion Page, Jr., 84, of Bryan passed away Friday, December 2, 2022, in College Station after a brief illness. A private service will be held by the family.

Jay was born February 15, 1938, in St. Louis, Missouri to John and Genevieve (Boeckmann) Page.

He was a 1967 graduate of Texas A&M. He worked as a Civil Engineer for the City of Bryan. After retiring from Bryan, he worked at the Texas Department of Transportation and took his second retirement in 2013.

He was married to Peggy (Dyer) Page for 60 years. Peggy passed away three days after Jay.

Jay coached for Little League North for over 20 years. He enjoyed playing racquetball, table tennis and handball. He was an avid sports fan and loved all things Aggie Athletics. He could be found on the A&M sidelines at home football games for decades.

He looked forward to his annual trip to Las Vegas with Jennifer and Roy.

Jay was preceded in death by his father, John Orion Page, his mother Genevieve Page, his aunt Dee Boeckmann, and his uncle Edward Boeckmann.

Survivors include his sons Morris Page and wife Lisa, Neal Page and wife Kimberly; daughter Jennifer Johnson and husband Roy; grandchildren Olivia Sims, Valerie Page, and Trace Johnson, and sister Joni Page Cook.

Jay will be dearly missed.
