Roll Call Tribute

Paul D. Ortega, Jr.
May 5, 1961 - December 10, 2022

It is with a sad heart that I announce the death of my brother, Paul D. Ortega, Jr.  Paul passed away at his home in Austin, Texas on December 10, 2022 due to natural causes.

A graduate of Texas A & M University, Paul made Austin his home and was employed by the University of Texas for over 20 years as a Senior Systems Administrator in the Chandra Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Paul was preceded in death by his father Paul D. Ortega and his mother Mary Jane Garcia.

He is survived by his sister Victoria Plotnik, numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.

There will not be a memorial service as Paul wanted to be cremated and have his ashes scattered in a private ceremony.
