Jerry L. Sales

December 30, 1932 - May 19, 2022

Jerry Lee Sales passed away on May 19, 2022 in McKinney, Texas, at the age of 89 and looking forward to turning 90.  He and his wife, Gail, had resided in McKinney for 26 years.  He was formerly of Conroe and Bryan, Texas.  

He received his BS degrees in Petroleum and Geological Engineering from Texas A&M University in the Class of '54.  While there he was in the Corps of Cadets and a member of the Ross Volunteers.  

He served in the U.S. Army and Army Reserves.  He retired in 1995 after working 40 years for corporations in the Corpus Christi and South Texas area in the oil and gas industry as a Registered Professional Petroleum Engineer.  The last 15 years he was employed as a consultant.  

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Lawana Gail Sales.
