Scott M. Sprouls
April 7, 1951 - November 1, 2022

Scott M. Sprouls was born on April 7, 1951 in Clovis, New Mexico, the son of Darwin M. and Anna Marie Sprouls.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and is survived by his brothers, James C. Sprouls of Boise, Idaho and Tracy Sprouls of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and by his close friend Suzanne Martel of Clovis, New Mexico.

Scott lived in Clovis all of his life, except for the four formative years (1969-1973) he spent at Texas A&M University, where he was a very proud member of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band and a member of the Corps of Cadets, and where he forged friendships that lasted a lifetime. Possessed of a sharp mind and a quick wit, Scott was a staunch lifelong fan and supporter of everything Texas Aggie.

Scott worked as an accountant in his father’s accounting practice for a few years before going to work in the comptroller’s office at Eastern New Mexico Rural Telephone Cooperative, where he worked until his retirement. Scott died on November 1, 2022, following a lengthy illness.

Arrangements have been entrusted in Muffley Funeral Home, www.muffleyfuneralhome.com, (575) 762-4435.
