July 28, 1968 - October 23, 2022

Greg Rively, 54, passed into eternity in the early morning of October 23, 2022 after a lengthy battle with frontal temporal dementia.

Greg was born July 28, 1968, the only son and middle child of John D. Rively Jr. and Sandra Curley Rively in Cleveland, OH. He spent his childhood years living around the world as a true “Military Brat” as his father was in the USAF. He spent his childhood years living in Michigan, Delaware, Arkansas, Ankara, Turkey and Augsburg, Germany and finally San Antonio. He graduated from John Marshall High School in San Antonio, Texas in 1986.

Upon graduation he served in the USAF for 4 years and then attended Texas A&M University and graduated with his degree in Accounting in 1993. He was a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity. Greg went on the receive his MBA in Computer Information Systems from The University of North Texas in 1999.

Greg loved being active. He received his black belt in Tae Kwon Do and participated in several Iron Man competitions. He was a passionate Aggie football fan and you could find him every Saturday watching his beloved Aggies.

Greg is survived by his children, John Rively, Kyle Rively and Ryan Rively, all of Dripping Springs, TX, his loving mother Sandi Rively of San Antonio, his sisters Kelly Parr (Craig) of Burleson, TX and Shannon Ochoa (Micheal) of San Antonio, TX and several nephews and nieces.
