Dale L. Donaldson
January 21, 1953 - October 12, 2022

Dale Lee Donaldson of Fort Worth, Texas went to his heavenly home at the age of 69, surrounded by his family, on Wednesday, October 12th, 2022.

Dale was born on January 21st, 1953 in Lubbock, Texas to Lieutenant Colonel Glenn H. and Janice Donaldson, the youngest sibling to brother, Darrell, and sister, Diane.

With a father that was in the Air Force, the Donaldsons lived all around the United States and the world, including Colorado Springs, Japan, San Antonio, and finally in Fort Worth. Upon moving to Fort Worth, Dale attended Arlington Heights High School where he made many lifelong friends. He graduated in 1971 with a full-ride basketball scholarship to Texas A&M University, where he graduated with a degree in Marketing.

Dale, along with his son Jacob, met and married the love of his life, Kathleen Hardgrove, on December 6th, 1986. In 1991, they were blessed with twin daughters, Alexandra Taylor and Abigael Truett, and together they enjoyed a full life in Fort Worth.

Dale was an avid golfer since a very young age. His weekly tee time with his buddies was rarely missed, as were his Sunday water volleyball games for the past 40 years.

He was a loyal member of the Fightin' Texas Aggie Class of 1975. Whether it was football, basketball, or any of the women's sports, he was a faithful fan through all the wins and losses.

Dale was a father and a friend to many. You could always find him with a smile on his face and a genuine interest in everyone he met. He was an active member at Movement City Church, formerly Christ Church, for over 30 years. Dale was a sweet spirit who loved a simple life, knowing a peace only found in Jesus. His impact and legacy will last far longer than his 69 years on earth.

He is preceded in death by Glenn and Janice Donaldson, Diane Donaldson, and his son Joseph Glenn Donaldson.

Survived by his wife Kathleen Donaldson; children, Jacob Donaldson, Alexandra Donaldson, Abigael Donaldson; grandson, Dylan Donaldson; his brother, Darrell Donaldson and wife Debbie Dodson, along with many nieces and nephews.
