Jerry Sr. was born October 7th, 1936 in Baytown TX to William G. and Eva Wilson. He graduated from Texas A&M University in 1962 with a degree in Architecture. His career included several favorite projects including the Zachry Engineering Center (Texas A&M campus), Watergate Marina Kemah, Beacon Lakes Golf Course, Legend Point to name a few.

Jerry Sr. was an avid outdoorsman enjoying golf, hunting, fishing, boating, sports, slot machines and fun adventures all along life’s highway. It’s safe to say no roadtrip was too early or too long with his ice chest by his side and either a cowboy hat or a visor. He was quick to say like Willie “I’m On the Road Again”.

A private family graveside service is scheduled for 12pm on August 29th 2022 in Leakey TX where Reverend John Link will officiate. Consider wearing Aggie colors as a tribute to Jerry Sr. and his love of Texas A&M University. In Lieu of flowers please consider a donation to: tx.ag/JerryWilson in his honor which provides scholarships to fellow Texas A&M students.

He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
