Thomas Edwin Moses
September 29, 1930 - June 14, 2022

Thomas E. (Ed) Moses passed away Tuesday June 14, 2022 in Fort Collins, CO.

Ed was born in Ralls, TX on September 29, 1930 to Lois Tyer Moses and Shirley Arnold Moses. He grew up in East and West Texas before attending Odessa High School where he met his future wife, Beverly Webber. Ed attended Texas A&M, was a proud member of “A” Infantry in the Corp of Cadets, and graduated in 1952 with a BBA in Business and Industrial Management as a Distinguished Student and Distinguished Military Graduate.

Ed and Beverly were married on December 27, 1952. They moved back to Odessa after Ed’s discharge from the Army in 1954 where Ed enjoyed a long working career in the Permian Basin. His career included pioneering a number of innovative technologies within the oil and gas industry. They raised their family in Midland; spent several years in Kerrville; returned to Midland; then retired to Fort Collins, CO.

Ed is survived by his wife Beverly, their three sons and wives: Jeff and Elizabeth, Steven and Judy, Mike and Lynann, and five grandchildren; Michelle Cross and husband Aaron, Matthew and Caroline, Riley and Miranda.

Ed’s life instilled the values of honesty, integrity, and the love of the game of golf in his three sons. The family enjoyed their last reunion on Ed and Beverly’s 69th wedding anniversary in December 2021 in Fort Collins. Ed loved his family and was known to say that his blessed life was because Beverly was always at his side. We will truly miss his advice, leadership and stories.

A memorial service will be held at a future date at the Rosalie Cemetery near Bogata, Texas. The family requests any memorial donations be made to St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, 3011 W. Kansas Avenue, Midland, Texas, 79701.
