Stacy L. Sacky
October 13, 1964 — April 11, 2022

Stacy L. Sacky, 57, of College Station, passed away April 11, 2022.

Stacy was completely devoted to his family and friends. As a great source of positivity and encouragement, he was an excellent mentor with the greatest integrity and moral compass “of anyone we know.”

Born in Corpus Christi, TX, Stacy earned an Industrial Engineer degree at Texas A&M. While attending A&M, he worked diligently to establish the fraternity, Phi Delta Theta, and was the #2 Founding Father of the Chapter. After graduation, he moved to the east coast where he eventually met his wife, Kelly. During his career, he worked in manufacturing as plant manager and Director of Manufacturing for several industries. Ultimately, he owned his own business as an Executive Recruiter. Never losing his love for Texas A&M, he moved his family back to “God’s Country.”

His marriage to Kelly and the birth of his children, Sierra and Zachary, were some of the most special days of his life. He spent many days coaching his children life lessons through their sports and his greatest highlights were watching both Sierra and Zach play in State Championship games during high school.

Stacy lived and taught the lessons of Lou Holtz, “Do right, do your best, and treat others the way you want to be treated.” And another of his favorite, “90% of any challenge is showing up. The only thing you can control is your attitude.” He would share this legacy with his wife, children, friends, and anyone who would listen.

Stacy is reunited with his father, George Sacky, and his mother, Barbara Cohan.

Stacy leaves behind his wife, Kelly, of 28 years; his children, Sierra and Zachary Sacky; his brother, Page Sacky; nieces, Kirsten, Emily, Alexis, Brittany; his nephew, Hunter; and his furry friend, Ranger.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association (https://www.heart.org/en/get-involved/ways-to-give) or the 1984 Aggieland Alumni Association (www.aaa1984.squrespace.com/donations).
