Andres Gomez
February 4, 1934 ~ November 3, 2021 (age 87)

Andres Gomez, 87, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, November 3, 2021. Andres was born February 4, 1934 in Genral Bravo, Mexico. He was the son of Flavio and Eufrocinia (Pena) Gomez. Andres proudly served his country with the United States Air Force from 1954- 1964.

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved family; His wife of 67 yrs Anita Gomez; his loving children: Flavio A. Gomez (Velma), Cynthia Gonzalez, Antonio Gomez, Maricela Gomez Carrizales (Sergio), Arnulfo Gomez (Irma), Aleida Gomez Ponce (David), Elizabeth Gomez (Anabell) and Luis Gomez; Six brothers, Three sisters; 21 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitations will be held from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm Sunday, November 7, 2021 at Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen with the Holy Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held  at 12:30 pm Monday, November 8, 2021 at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church. Interment will follow 2:00 pm at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery. 

Service arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
