Sunday, April 15th, 2001 - Saturday, September 4th, 2021

Britney Gail Gavitt, 20, passed away Saturday, September 4, 2021, at her home in Granbury, Texas. A memorial service celebrating Britney's life will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Field Street Baptist Church in Cleburne, Texas.

Britney was born in Fort Worth, Texas on April 15, 2001, the daughter of Holly (Bishop) and Bruce Gavitt.

She was a sophomore at Texas A&M University who was studying biology. 

Britney was a member of Field Street Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her horse “Red”.

Britney is survived by her parents, Holly Gavitt of Granbury and Bruce Gavitt of Cleburne; brother, Zachary Gavitt of Cleburne; grandparents, Dr. and Mrs. Steve Bishop of Granbury and Jean Gavitt of Godley, Texas; her service dog, “Puppy”; and many relatives, adopted grandparents ,extended family, and friends.

Memorial donations in Britney’s name may be made to Wings of Hope, PO Box 445, Burleson, TX 76097.
