Tony Norsworthy
July 27, 1969 - August 18, 2021

Tony Norsworthy went to be with the Lord on August 18, 2021, at the age of 52, after a brief heart illness. He was born on July 27, 1969, in Saigon, Vietnam to David Norsworthy and Snow Norsworthy.

Tony loved Jesus. It was obvious if you ever had a conversation with him. Within the first few sentences, he would work Jesus and his church, Mustang Creek Community church, into the conversation. Tony graduated from Mesquite High School and continued his education at Texas A&M University. He wore his Aggie ring with pride and it was likely the center of attention in any photo he took part in.

Tony was a beloved veteran who served in the United States Navy. He enjoyed serving others, hunting, fishing, and tinkering in his garage.

He is survived by his wife of 7 years, Lisa Norsworthy, daughter Amanda Smith and son-in-law Justin Smith, son Austin Norsworthy, step-daughter Melissa Davis and step-son in-law Geoff Davis, step-son Gabe Barreraz and step-daughter in-law Meagan Barreraz, step-daughter Lucy Barreraz and step-son in-law Andrew Mowery, step-son Anthony Barreraz and step daughter-in-law Geordina Barreraz, grandchildren, Maddox, Mason, Adriana, Mia, Madelyn, Issac, and Rhett, siblings Loan Bryant and brother-in-law Bill Bryant, Mai Hodges and brother-in-law Mark Hodges, and Rose Mitchell.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Jennifer; brother Phoung Norsworthy; brother-in-law Coy Mitchell and numerous other relatives.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made directly to The American Heart Association.
