January 2, 1958 - October 27, 2020

Bruce Victor Clark, 62, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at Ascension Via Christi St. Francis Hospital in Wichita. He was born January 2, 1958 in Hutchinson, Kansas to Dr. James Elton and Joan (McFadden) Clark. Bruce married Teresa Lea (Rathke) Clark on November 18, 1989 in Wichita. They were married for 30 years.

Bruce graduated from Pratt High School in 1976 and was Athlete of the Year. He had League and State honors in football, track and wrestling. He went to Colby Community College then transferred to Kansas State University where he received his Bachelors in Ag Economics. He then went on to receive his Masters in Agricultural Banking from Texas A&M. He was a farmer and rancher. He was a member of Minneola United Methodist Church, Kansas Club Lambs and Pratt County 4-H. He enjoyed raising show sheep, reading his Bible, sharing the love of his Lord and talking on the phone. Bruce never knew a stranger and could talk to anyone wherever he went.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa; mother, Joan Clark of Preston; sisters, Kim (Dave) Novack of Holcomb and Connie Clark of Pratt; nephews, Cody (Hannah) Barilla of Pratt, Colby Barradas of Pratt and Keaton (Aleisha) Christner of Douglass; and niece, Cammie (Nathan) Willis of Durango, Colorado.

Bruce is preceded in death by his father, James Clark; and sister, Deanna Dee (D.D.) Barilla.

Visitation will be Thursday from 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. with family receiving friends from 5-7 at Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 30, 2020 at Larrison Mortuary, Pratt. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Pratt.

Memorials may be made to Colby Barradas Scholarship Fund in care of Larrison Mortuary.
