April 16, 1963 - May 24, 2021

Ronald Scott Farrar, age 58 of Winchester, passed away on Monday, May 24, 2021 at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga.

He was born in Harvey, Illinois on April 16, 1963 to the late Ronald and Hope Farrar. Scotty graduated high school in Senecca, Illinois and then attended Texas A&M, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Biology. He was currently employed as the Codes Inspector for the City of Wartrace.

Scotty enjoyed fishing and was a lifelong learner…he had a curious mind for learning new things. He also enjoyed fishing and raising chickens with his daughter, Emma. Scotty had a strong faith in God.

He is survived by his loving daughter, Emma Nicole Farrar of Shelbyville; step-daughter, Haleigh Copeland of Shelbyville; sister, Lynn Demoll of Winchester; niece, Jessica (Bryan)Dykes of Winchester; nephews, Gus Raby of Cowan, and Joshua Raby of Clarksville; great-nieces, Acelynn, Sofie, and Luca; and great-nephews, Jaxon, Skylar, Lane, and Abel.

Visitation will be from 3-4 pm Sunday, May 30, 2021 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will follow at 4:00 pm in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Pastor Bryan Dykes officiating.

Interment will follow at Moore-Memorial Cemetery in Huntland, TN. Moore-Cortner Funeral Home, 300 First Ave NW, Winchester, TN 37398, (931)-967-2222, www.moorecortner.com.
