Ronald D. Hunter, LTC (Ret)
August 23, 1941 - June 2, 2021
Ronald Hunter of Palmetto, FL passed away in June 2, 2021.
He was a student at Texas A&M University and resided in Spence and Fountain dorms. He was a member of the Corps of Cadets in the A Field Artillery. He also was a member of the TAMU Gymnastics Club, the Texas A&M Student Chapter of the American Meteorological Society, the Aggie Theatre Council, the Texas Student Education Association, and TAMU Club Baseball.
He was a veteran of the US Army and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. He also worked as a Senior Telecommunications Officer for the National Security Agency where he eventually retired from.
He is survived by wife Patricia Susanne Hunter, as well as sons Ronald C. Hunter and Douglas W. Hunter.
His burial will be at Sarasota National Cemetery on August 13th, 2021 and his Celebration of life will be at the VFW on August 14th, 2021
