April Williams (Williamson)
Friday, January 6th, 1978 - Sunday, May 23rd, 2021

The earth lost the most beautiful soul and Heaven gained a beautiful Angel. April Williamson Williams, 43, passed away on May 23rd in the warmth of her home and surrounded by the love of her family.

April was born on January 6, 1978, in Huntsville, Texas, to Fred and Janelle Williamson. In 1981, they moved to Angleton to raise their girls close to family. April attended school in Angleton and thrived in softball. In high school, she was named First Team All District, First Team Greater Houston Area, First Team All State Tournament, and AHS Most Valuable Offensive Player. In 1994, she was part of the Angleton High School Softball State Champions. April was also an AHS Student Council and Class officer. She graduated in 1996 and continued her education at Texas A&M, earning a degree in education. She loved her Aggie traditions and never missed an opportunity to drive through College Station. She inspired hundreds of students and earned many recognitions over 18 years as a devoted teacher.

Her passions included softball, family vacations, time with friends and family at their annual beach house, her Community Baptist church family and youth group, dragging reluctant family to hunt Pokemon Go, listening and singing to Mamma Mia, attending musicals, seeing Christmas lights, and wild-hair summer adventures with her mom, her sister and their kids. She touched every life she knew and impacted so many. April was everything we all aspire to be….. filled with grace, kindness, laughs, forgiveness, love and most of all Faith. She radiated life with beautiful energy. She was our rock. Our warrior. Our peace.

April is survived by her loving husband of 8 years, Clint Williams; their children, Kevin and wife Lucero, Kara and fiance Craig, Reganne, Carley, Grace, Collin, and Drew; mother, Janelle Clawson Williamson; sister, Kaysie Hastings and fiance Andy; mother-in-law, Marcella Thompson, brothers-in-law, Blaine Williams & wife Heidi and Trevor Williams and many dear relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Fred Williamson, and her grandparents.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 26th from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at the Community Baptist Church in Danbury. Funeral services will be held at the same location on Thursday, May 27th at 2pm. Services will also be live streamed on the Community Baptist’s facebook page.

In lieu of usual remembrances, contributions can be made to her children’s college fund via Linda Piper, PO Box 546, Danbury, Texas 77534.
