Charlie was born on May 31, 1932 in Houston, Texas to Fred and Sylvia Greenberg. He grew up and received his education in Corpus Christi, Texas, and graduated from W.B. Ray High School in 1950. After graduation he attended Delmar Junior College in Corpus Christie for one year before joining the Army in 1952. His time in the service took him to the Philippines and Japan. Following his discharge from the Army, Charlie attended Texas A&M University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Range Management and Animal Science. His career took him to Denver, Colorado to work for Mobile Oil for five years as a land specialist. While working for Mobile he traveled extensively. After leaving Colorado, he had various jobs that eventually took him back to Texas, where he was able to care for his mother as her health declined.

After moving to Buffalo in 1996, Charlie became an active member in Grace Fellowship Church. Here he made many friends. Charlie soon became extremely close to Carl and Sandy Danielson. Charlie considered Carl and Sandy family and spent many holidays together. He was an avid reader and had a strong love of music, especially Big Band music.

He is survived by his brother, Bob Greenberg of Irving, Texas and 6 nephews & one niece. He is preceded in death by parents, Fred and Sylvia Greenberg.

The family would like to express their deepest and heartfelt thanks to the Danielson’s, the Community of Buffalo, Wyoming and all the caretakers who took great care of him during his time here.

You will be very missed Uncle Charles.
