Corey Ryan Fowler
November 03, 1977 - March 11, 2021

Corey Ryan Fowler, 43, of Lucas, Texas went to heaven on March 11, 2021 in Lucas. He was born November 3, 1977 in Dallas to Jerrell and Sandra (Pendleton) Fowler. Corey was a kind, caring and easy-going man. He was always polite and such a gentleman.

Corey was a 1996 graduate of Allen High School and a proud Aggie graduate of the class of 2000 of Texas A&M University.

Immediately after graduation Corey began his work career with the Texas Agricultural Experiment Station in Dallas as a Turf Grass Project Manager. Next, he headed to the oil fields in West Texas where he spent years with Haliburton/Baroid as a Drilling Fluids Engineer.

Corey was a Boy Scout, a member of the FFA, enjoyed hunting, wildlife, and anything related to the outdoors and nature. As a young man he spent lots of time with his dad and brother outdoors. They would go shooting at The Hills, Sandra’s childhood home. The whole family enjoyed camping and going to Lake Lavon. The brothers loved water skiing. And recently loved spending time with the family at their farm in Oklahoma.

Corey’s greatest joy in life was his precious daughter, Hadley. He loved spending time with her, going to movies, cooking together, and doing anything she wanted to do, including shopping. He was so proud of her many talents, especially painting and drawing.

Corey grew up in the Methodist church and UMYF. He was a member of Suncreek United Methodist Church and was a Christian with a deep faith in God.

Corey is survived by his dear daughter, Hadley Fowler of Big Spring; parents, Sandra and Jerrell of Lucas; brother, Clint Fowler '03 and wife, Laura, nephew Rhett Fowler of Newcastle Oklahoma; numerous cousins and a host of friends.

Services will be held Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Suncreek United Methodist Church, 1517 W. McDermott Drive. Allen, Texas, followed by a family visitation there at the outdoor pavilion.

In lieu of flowers, the Fowlers would appreciate memorials made to Suncreek United Methodist Church Building Fund (mailing address above) or to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society MS Walk in honor of Corey’s mom, Sandra Fowler, to help create a world free of MS. http://main.nationalmssociety.org/goto/smfowler
