January 20, 1957 - February 22, 2020

After a seven-year long battle with cancer, Wayne Wiley Peacock passed away in Round Rock, Texas on February 22, 2020 at the age of 63. Wayne was born on January 20, 1957 in Mercedes, Texas to George and Helen (Underwood) Peacock. Wayne spent his childhood in the Rio Grande Valley and graduated from McAllen High School in 1975 where he played football, basketball and baseball. In 1979, Wayne graduated from Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in Finance. Wayne was married to his loving wife Susan (Brimberry) Peacock on November 11, 1978 in McAllen, TX and they were married 41 years. During his life, Wayne worked for Farm Bureau, Brimberry Peacock Insurance Agency, and Platinum Funding. In recent years, Wayne immensely enjoyed spending his free time umpiring in the Central Texas area with the CenTex Umpiring Chapter. Wayne was a member of First Baptist Church in Georgetown, TX.

Surviving Wayne are his wife Susan Peacock of Round Rock, TX; son, Christopher Peacock '09 and wife Julie; daughter, Sara Peacock '18; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bill and Nancy Brimberry; brother, Larry Peacock (Lisa Peacock); sister, Adonna Peacock; brother, Steve Peacock; brother-in-law, Joe Langford; grandchildren, Laney, Troy and Hank Peacock; and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Helen Peacock; son, Troy Peacock '07; and sister-in-law, Melinda Langford.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Troy Alan Peacock Foundation in care of Bancorp South Bank 711 San Gabriel Village Blvd Suite 100, Georgetown, TX 78626.

In lieu of a service, a visitation will be held on Friday, February 28 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the Ramsey Funeral Home in Georgetown, TX.
