David Beal
October 27, 1958 - February 05, 2021
David Beal, age 62, of Russellville died Friday, February 5, 2021, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center. He was born October 27, 1958, in Kennett, Missouri to Thomas Eugene and Martha Jean Butler Beal.
He was a member of Russellville First Baptist Church, Texas A&M Lettermen’s Association and Russellville Cyclone Hall of Fame. He received the Aggie Heart Award and was a teacher and coach for 40 years. He was the position coach of the original 12th man kickoff team and was quarterback for Texas A&M.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his wife, Dauna Jackson Beal; his mother; a son and daughter-in-law, David Lynn Jr. and Christine Beal of Temple, Texas; a daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Michael Hillman of Woodway, Texas; a step-son and his spouse, Joshua and Jacqueline DeBord of Shreveport, Louisiana; a step-daughter, Laura Jones of Russellville; a brother and sister-in-law, Stephen and Tabitha Beal of Conway; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Paula and Bud Newton of Magnolia, Texas, Karen and Gary Millican of El Dorado; and eight grandchildren, Sawyer, Tucker and Chandler Hillman, Benjamin and Leah Beal, Juliet and Jackson DeBord and Porter Walton.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date and arrangements are by Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
