Robert B Boldt
August 21, 1946 - February 2, 2021
Bob Boldt, of Dallas, went home to be face to face with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Feb. 2, 2021, after a three week battle with Covid-19. Bob is survived by his wife of 52 years, Judy, their daughter and son-in-law, Laura '94 and Tom '91 Jones of San
Antonio, their son and daughter-in-law, David '97 and Lori '99 Boldt of Plano and six grandchildren: Anna, Lizzy, Julia and Jake of San Antonio and Charlie and Andi of Plano, all of whom Bob adored.
Bob grew up in Tyler, graduating from Robert E. Lee High School in 1964. He was a graduate of his beloved Texas A&M University, Class of 1968, where he was an officer in the Corps of Cadets. Bob graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the College of
Engineering. Bob later served on the first board of the Corp Development Council in the mid-eighties, and in later years, was on the committee to raise funds for the campus memorial honoring the Aggies who gave their lives in the War on Terrorism.
After college, he was in professional sales in the electric utility industry for over 30 years. In 1983, he served as President of the Dallas Electric Club, a professional organization for the industry. He sold the transformers to Texas Power & Light Co. that
were used in the Comanche Peak Nuclear Power Plant here in Texas. At the time of his death, Bob was employed with Texas Lending.com here in Dallas, where he had many friends among employees and customers.
Bob began his study of the Bible in 1970 with reel to reel tape recordings of the Bible teachings by R.B. Thieme, Jr., Pastor of Berachah Church in Houston. Bob served on the Board of Deacons of North Dallas Bible Church for almost twenty years, and was a founding
member of Machaira Bible Church.
Bob loved Bible Doctrine, Texas A&M football, and his family (not necessarily in that order)!
