Leslie Lynne Busch
July 25, 1975 ~ June 13, 2020 (age 44)

Leslie Lynne Busch, 44, of Crystal Lake passed away Saturday, June 13, 2020. She was born in Van Horn, Texas on July 25, 1975 to Glen and Toni Gilmore.

Leslie married Joshua Ryan Busch on December 21, 1997 at First Baptist Church in Independence, TX. First and foremost, Leslie was a follower of Jesus Christ. She loved being a wife and mother, and her love for the Lord was evident to all who knew her. Leslie used her BS in Elementary Education, cum laude, from Texas A&M to homeschool all four of her daughters, and used that platform to not only teach them about the world, but as an opportunity to disciple and tell them about Jesus. Leslie was a phenomenal cook and enjoyed preparing meals for others. From small family meals to larger meals of over 200 for church ministry fundraisers, she had a servant’s heart and frequently shared her gift with everyone. She was a member, and elder’s wife, at The Evangelical Free Church of Crystal Lake. Leslie was a wonderful friend and mentor to many. She enjoyed watching Aggie football on Saturday and the Broncos on Sunday. She is greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband, Josh, and their four children, Eryn Dawn (Charles Robert) Boldt, Katie Lynne Busch, Taylor Anne Busch, and Christin Lee Busch; parents, Glen and Toni Gilmore of Salt Flat, TX; and siblings, Sara Lee (Todd) Ogilvie of Monroe, WA and Wesley Glen (Tiffany) Gilmore of Salt Flat, TX. Leslie is further survived by her mother-in-law, Judy McAnally, 3 nephews, 4 nieces, 1 great nephew, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and in-laws.

Leslie was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Allen D. (Buddy) and Katie Nelson and paternal grandparents, Ben and Isobel Gilmore.

Please join the family for a time of visitation from 10 am until 12 noon on Friday, June 19th at Evangelical Free Church of Crystal Lake, 575 E Crystal Lake Ave, Crystal Lake. We will then move outside to celebrate Leslie's life with an outdoor service at 12 noon on the church grounds.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Evangelical Free Church of Crystal Lake.
