Kenneth H. Schwenke
June 05, 1928 - August 26, 2020

Kenneth H. Schwenke passed away August 26, 2020. A life long resident of El Paso, Texas. He graduated from Austin high school where he played football. He then attended the College of Mines and Texas A & M University. At Texas A & M he was a member of the corps of cadets company C. Upon graduating at the age of 19 he was commissioned as an officer in the U S Army. Serving in Germany with the 29 TH. Heavy Tank Battalion of the 2 ND Armored Division. After his leaving active duty, he continued in the U S Army Reserve achieving the rank of Captain.

Upon returning to El Paso he was employed with El Paso Natural Gas Company for 36 years as an Engineering Evaluator until his retirement. He belonged to various organizations. The Texas A & M club of El Paso, American Society of Professional Estimators, and Discover El Paso most recently. In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening and traveling with his wife. He leaves behind his wife, a daughter, two grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
