Tiffany Ward Rushing, 44, of Conroe passed away Saturday, May 16, 2020. She was born June 28, 1975 to Denice and Mark Ward in Conroe.

She is survived by her son, Foster Perdue; husband, Allan Rushing; mother, Denice Ward; father, Mark Ward; brother, Lamar Ward and wife Melissa; niece, Malynn Ward; nephew, Turner Ward; grandmother, Jean Ward; uncles, Jimmy Wright and wife Miriam, Greg Wright and wife Angie, Randy Wright and wife Trudy; cousins, Tracie Wright, Travis Wright, Geoffrey Wright, Randi Lynne Wright, and Ben Wright; great aunt, Dorothy Ward; Foster’s father, Jeff Perdue; and a host of other family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Jean and James Wright and Dr. Harry C. Ward; aunt, Vikki Goodbar; and cousin Courtney Goodbar.

Tiffany was raised in Huntsville, where she graduated from Huntsville High School in 1993. She received her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University in English and Psychology. Tiffany took great pride in being an Aggie. She later earned her M.S. in Counseling from Sam Houston State University. She taught school and served as a school counselor, but her most treasured work experience took place alongside her family at Able Glass and Mirror in Huntsville and Conroe.
Tiffany had a great love for animals and helped find homes for countless dogs and cats over the years. She thrived on helping others better themselves and loved her friends and family unconditionally. Her life changed seven years ago when her son, Foster, entered the world. She loved him with her whole heart and enjoyed watching him build things and explore the world. Some of her best days in recent years were spent traveling and exploring with Foster and Allan.

Services will be held Friday, May 22, 2020 at 2:00 pm in the Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Huntsville, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation to your local animal shelter or another charity of your choice. It would be Tiffany’s sincere desire for her passing to result in each of us helping those in need.

Memorial condolences to the family may be made at www.shmfh.com
