Prescilla Marie Sanchez
October 17, 1998 - May 15, 2020

Prescilla Marie Sanchez, age 21, went home to Heaven wrapped in Jesus’ embrace after a horrible car accident on Friday, May 15, 2020. She was born in Dallas, Texas on October 17, 1998 to Margret Ashley and David Sanchez, Jr. Prescilla was a 2017 graduate of Lewisville High School and an English major in the class of 2021 at Texas A&M University. She aspired to become a high school English teacher and one day to have a family of her own.

Prescilla accepted Christ at a young age and always kept her faith written on her heart. She was an active member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, met weekly with her church Lifegroup and attended annual mission trips to various college campuses. She loved being an Aggie almost as much as she loved God and did not hesitate to share either with those around her. Prescilla’s grace translated into all of her endeavors, from discipling her peers to running track and playing for her high school varsity volleyball team. Mature beyond her years, she was respected and beloved by all who knew her. She had a genuine passion for books, playfulness, creativity and the outdoors. Outside of family, she especially loved spending time with her roommate, Kaitlyn Tipton, and beloved boyfriend, Brandon Rush. Prescilla was never afraid to be genuine and there was sincerity and thoughtfulness in all she did. She was patient, kind, honest, and brave; she truly captured the hearts of us all and lived up to every hope you could have for a daughter, sister, or friend.

She is survived by her mother, Margret “Lori” Sanchez; her father and stepmother, David and Shelly Sanchez; five sisters, Audrey Sanchez (19), Isabel Sanchez (9), Evelyn Sanchez (6), Hazel Sanchez (4) and Josie Sanchez (21 months); one brother, Kingston Brannon (8); and many grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to the ADDISON FUNERAL HOME, 18630 Kuykendahl Rd., Spring, TX, in pre-assigned 30 minute time slots from 1pm-7pm on Saturday, May 30, 2020 to reminisce, grieve and support each other. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Prescilla’s church community, Antioch of College Station, for use towards mission trips.
