David Bryan Booher, Lt.Col. USAF (Ret) '83
November 23, 1960 ~ April 28, 2020 (age 59)

David Bryan Booher, age 59, of Crestview, Florida passed away April 28, 2020. David was born November 23, 1960 to Sammie and Robert Booher in Houston, Texas. He graduated from Texas A&M and served his country in the United States Air Force for much of his life, retiring from the Reserves as a Lieutenant Colonel in 2011 and then Civil Service in 2014.

First and foremost, David loved Jesus, his Lord and Savior. He attended Crosspoint Church and passionately shared his testimony with others. He was blessed with an honorable and successful marriage to Loni Shaw, largely due to their shared faith. David and Loni built up a successful small business, the Boo-Shaw bakery, over the last 8 years. David always had a passion for cheering on and encouraging others. He avidly served the homeless in the local community and also served with the Good News Jail Ministry. He was musically gifted and loved playing music in church and celebration events. David had a passion for baseball, playing minor leagues for the Houston Outlaws and other teams. David was very mechanically minded and could create something out of nothing. He also loved to play golf.

David was preceded in death by his father, Robert Booher. He is survived by his wife of 9 years and best friend for 13, Loni Shaw; mother, Sammi Booher; children, Christy Burnett and Brady, Katy Russell and Justin, Michelle Booher and Damian, and Timothy Daniel Bates, Jr and fiancé Marissa Young; and seven grandchildren, Cooper, Cypress, Aibryn, Valissa, Ethan, Enzo, and Jaxson.
