August 14, 1948 - September 18, 2018

Robert Burton Terry, 70, passed away peacefully early on the morning of Tuesday, September 18, 2018.

Mr. Terry was born on August 14, 1948 in Wichita, Kansas. He served his country as a navigator in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict attaining the rank of Captain. Subsequent to his military service, he worked for TRW and at Mercer University. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia McDowell Terry.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving fiance’ of twenty years, Kathleen Brown; his father, Homer T. Terry of Newnan, Georgia; his brothers, Charles Terry of Fort Worth, Texas and Richard Terry of Sharpsburg, Georgia; five nephews; one niece; and a host of other extended family members and friends.

A memorial service for Mr. Terry will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that contributions be made to the American Kidney Fund, 11921 Rockville Pike, Suite 300, Rockville, Maryland 20852.

McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory has the privilege of being entrusted with Mr. Terry’s arrangements.
