Moize Adney was born in Breckenridge, TX to Elaine and Aubrey Adney. He graduated from Texas A&M in 1956 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and did special studies in meteorology in order to serve his country when stationed at Laredo, TX as a meteorologist. He eventually retired from the Air Force reserves as a Captain. He married his wife Virginia in 1957 and they had two daughters - Pamela and Laura. They lived in Houston and then in Austin where Moize worked at Texas Instruments for over twenty years designing computers. His daughters remember them telling them in the 1960s that one day everyone would have a computer. He is survived by his wife, Virginia, his daughter Pamela and her husband, and granddaughter Charlotte and her husband, and great-granddaughter Alice; and numerous nieces and nephews. His daughter Laura passed away in 2015. He and Virginia retired first to Meridian, TX and then to Cleburne, TX where he was active in the Methodist Church and spent happy years walking his dogs in the neighborhood and fixing the computers of elderly neighbors.
