James "Jamie" Jordan '80 April 13, 2020 9:44 AM updated: April 13, 2020 10:44 AM

James (Jamie) Dale Jordan , 61, of Grapevine, Texas, beloved husband, faithful father, grandfather and dear friend went to be with the Lord Monday, April 6th, 2020. The family will be having a private graveside service at Bluebonnet Hills in Colleyville, TX, April 10, 2020.

Jamie was born April 23, 1958, to David and Dale Jordan, and grew up in Birmingham, Alabama and Orange, Texas. He graduated from Little Cypress-Mauriceville High School in Orange, Texas in 1976, and went on to Texas A&M University, earning his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Distribution. At A&M, he met the love of his life, Marsha, whom he was married to for almost 39 years.

They were married on August 1, 1981 and have three wonderful children, Callie, Micah and Nathan. Jamie and Marsha loved to hike in the mountains and enjoy God’s beauty. Jamie is known for his dry sense of humor, care-free spirit and passion for life.

Jamie founded The FlexStick Company along with business partner Simon Chen in 2010, which is still in operation to this day.

Jamie is survived by his wife, Marsha, his parents, David and Dale Jordan; his siblings, Dave Jordan and Jeanna Meadows; his children and grandchildren, Callie & Casey Cox with grandchildren, Carson, Conner and Clay of Little Rock, Arkansas; Micah and Julia Jordan with granddaughter Elsie of Plano, Texas; and Nathan Jordan of South Korea.

Jamie and Marsha are members of The Village Church - Southlake Campus, where they regularly attended and served.

The family would like to thank all those who have held them in their prayers and walked with them through this difficult time. Both Jamie and Marsha have truly felt the love of Christ directly through so many friends and family.

I Corinthians 15: 55-57

“O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting? The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

The family plans to have a “Celebration of Life” gathering later in the year for family and friends. They invite you to send any fun or cherished memories of Jamie to:
