Orval R. Love
February 29, 1932 - December 28, 2017

Orval passed away on December 28, 2017. He grew up on a farm and ranch located near the head of the Blanco River. Early in his life he loved the idea of flying and learned later that one path to becoming a pilot was through the ROTC at Texas A&M University. He entered the US Air Force and felt proud to become certified to fly 14 different aircrafts. Orval left the active Air Force and joined the US Air Force Reserve but once again entered Texas A&M University and in 1959 received a B.S. Mechanical Engineering. In the following years he became a P.E. in 16 States. Also, he served many years on water boards.

Orval is predeceased by one daughter.

Orval is survived by his wife, of 63 years, Mildred R. Maler Love, two daughters, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. One granddaughter is a Texas A&M veterinarian.
