Roel Amado Israel Prado, age 20, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 13, 2020 in College Station, Texas. He was born June 3, 1999 in San Antonio, Texas to Isabel M. Basaldu and Michael Ashly Prado. He made his outward testimony of his inward transformation on September 30, 2009. After graduating from San Antonio Christian High School in 2018 he moved to College Station where he attended Texas A&M University, first pursuing a degree in Biomedical Engineering and more recently Horticulture. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Helen Prado and Ruth and Rosendo Basaldu. Roel is survived by his parents Isabel Basaldu-Prado and Michael Prado; siblings Bekah Contrestano and husband Cameron, Ross Prado and wife Aubrey, Rylee Prado, and Rosie Prado; grandfather Lee Prado; nephews Noah and Judah Contrestano; his precious dog Robyn; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a lifetime of friends and Funko Pops. The family will receive visitors from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Monday, February 24, 2020 at Porter Loring Mortuary North
