Roll Call Tribute

Grant Dalby Gordon lll, passed away on January 14, 2020. He was born in Galveston, TX on March 23, 1948. He graduated from Sam Raybarn H.S in Pasadena, TX. He received his B.S in Mechanical Engineering and M.S in Adult Education from Texas A&M University. He was married to Delania Porter on July 10, 1971 in College Station, TX. He was a Pilot for the U.S. Air Force from 1973 to 1993 and Instructor for American Airlines from 1997 to 2015. He was a member of the Patriot Guard and AHBA and had a passion for motorcycles and model building. He is preceded in death by his father Grant Dalby Gordon Jr.and mother Dorothy Gordon (Anderson) and sister Susan Glant. He is survived by his wife Delania Gordon; children Brandon Gordon and Amanda Friedeck; grandchildren Payton Gordon, Caitlynn Friedeck and Lillian Gordon and sister Diane Heibert. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The National Kidney Foundation. www.kidneyfund.org. Service: Sunday, January 19 at 2pm in Laurel Land Chapel of Chimes.
