William King Granville

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil; For thou art with me.

William King Granville of Brady, Texas passed away on November 29, 2016 at the age of 96.
Services will be held Wednesday December 7th, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home in Brady.
Burial to follow at Rest Haven Cemetery in Brady.

Mr. Granville was born on August 7, 1920 in Brady, Texas to Dr. James Benjamin and Vera Viola (King) Granville. He was one of three boys. On Easter Sunday, 1942 he married the love of his life Merle Brock at the Brady Presbyterian Church. Together they were blessed with one daughter, Georgann. Mr. and Mrs. Granville had been happily married for 74 years at the time of his passing. Mr. Granville was a man of strong faith. He served as an Elder at the Bridge Street Church of Christ as well as the Sunset Ridge Church of Christ. He loved being outdoors, farming and ranching. He will be greatly missed by those who were blessed to know and love him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. James Benjamin and Vera Viola (King) Granville, and one brother, Junior Granville.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Merle (Brock) Granville; daughter, Georgeann (Granville) Jourdan and husband Bill; and one brother, Dr. George Ellis Granville.
