Allan Ray Moore
Allan Ray Moore, age 64, of Flint passed away Friday, October 11, 2019 at his residence. Allan was born February 18, 1955 in Houston to parents, Jefferson Marion Moore, Sr. and Hazel Green Moore. After graduating from Angleton High School, class of 1973, he earned his bachelor’s degree in business from Texas A & M University. Allan owned and operated Deals on Wheels in Palestine. Then for many years, he worked as a salesman for William George Wholesale where he retired. In his retirement, his passions were fishing and riding his motorcycle.
Allan is survived by daughters, Cristy Stanley and husband, Brian of Montgomery; Tammie Wedin and husband, Billy of Palestine; grandchildren, Chloe Moore of Palestine, Peyton Stanley of Montgomery, Parker Stanley of Montgomery, Savannah Lee Stanley of Montgomery, Asher Wedin of Palestine; mother, Hazel Moore of Crockett; numerous other loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by father, Jeff Moore; brothers, Lloyd Moore, Jefferson Moore.
Funeral services for Allan Ray Moore will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 19, 2019 in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with Rev. David Darst officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Park. Family will receive friends for visitation Friday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Callaway-Allee Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be to the Ronald McDonald House in honor of Asher Wedin
