BILLY BURT CARTER
Memorial service for Billy Burt Carter will be held on Friday, January 4, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. in The Chapel at Conroe Funeral Directors with the Rev. Samuel Brannon officiating. Interment will follow at Houston National Cemetery at 1:45 p.m. with full military honors for his service in the Army. Mr. Carter was born on September 27, 1934 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to James Rufus Carter and Mildred Babcock Carter. He passed away peacefully on December 8, 2018 in McAllen, Texas at the age of 84. Billy is survived by his loving family: children, Bill Carter, Jeff Carter, Kenny Lance, Vicki Carmon, Annette Carter-Hancox, Steve Lance, Debbie Rodriguez, and Brad Carter; brother and sister-in-law, James R. Jr. and Chloe K. Carter of Burleson; 15 grandchildren and a handful of great grandchildren. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
